Isagenix Associate

Well since I’ve had such great results from Isagenix I decided to start doing more than blog about it and talk about it all the time. I’ve decided to be a associate. Basically that means that I’ll be selling it to people and (hopefully) helping them more than just telling them about it. I’m currently in the process of building my Isagenix site, but I thought I’d post a link to it here so that anyone who happens to read this blog would find my new associate site. Here’s the link: http://isagenixbydavid.com If you get a chance, take a look and let me know what you think. I’m still adding products, but if you see other stuff let me know. Thanks!

Q2 Interactive Media Gets Its Own Facelift

After a very long wait, we have launched a new version of Q2 Interactive Media. The old site was up and stale for way too long. The colors were dark, the content was old and overall it just didn’t represent who we were as a team at Q2. Take a look: Q2 Interactive Media is a website design, development, hosting and new media company in Colorado Springs. If you need a new website developed, company branding or help with your social media, call Q2 Interactive Media so we can get you started on rebuilding your website and your business! Be sure to check out the Q2 Interactive Media Portfolio page to see all the cool projects we’ve worked on.

Electric Yellow Cichlids

I’ve had several types of fish over the last year, but never had cichlids. Anyway, the other day I was on Craigslist (as I do when I’m bored) and I ran across an ad by a guy who was selling electric yellow cichlids for $3 each (or 5 for $10). I emailed him and, long story short, I’m now the proud owner of 5 of these cool little fish. Here’s a video: Electric Yellow Cichlids getting settled into their new home. After I’m sure they will be okay, I’m going to take them to the new office and setup the tank they are currently in there.

Travel and Budget

I’ve been toying with the idea of taking a vacation at some point in 2011. A real vacation. Away from work and phones and computers and all that. I think I’ve got it nailed down. I think I’m going to Scotland in August. I’ve priced airfare and the prices aren’t bad. Plus I’ll have to get a passport, but that’s not that much either. All said and done, I’m looking at about $1600 for the trip plus whatever shopping I may want to do. I’ve got a place to stay already so that makes the trip quite a bit cheaper. Of course, that’s if I buy my tickets now. Time to start budgeting. I looked at my budget just now and realized how much money I’m throwing away each month. The number makes me sick. I’m not even going to put it up here… So if I can save around

A Little Housekeeping

I decided it was time to reinstall windows on my home PC in an effort to fix all the little glitches that have begun to add up. In the process of doing that I ran across a desktop app that may help me keep more up-to-date with my blogging. Windows has a program called “Live Writer” and it seems to integrate into WordPress pretty easily. Of course, this is my first entry with it, so I guess I’ll know more when I press the “Publish” button at the top of the screen. Also, this is as good a time as any to post a picture of the new betta I got yesterday. He’s pretty young based on his size and where I purchased him. Now let’s see if I can get an image in here: Okay. Enough for now. Let’s press “Publish”…

A Sleepless Thanksgiving

I was talking to a friend of mine today about insomnia and how I’ve been fortunate to have not had an episode in a long time. I shouldn’t have opened my stupid mouth. Basically, it’s 2 o’clock in the morning and I can’t sleep. I guess I wouldn’t go so far as to call this “insomnia,” but I should have been more careful about picking my words… UGH! Anyway, as a result of it being 2am, I want to apologize in advance for any ramblings or nonsensical things that may come out in this. Part of me feels an obligation to write something about what I’m thankful for seeing as how it is (or, technically, was) Thanksgiving. Part of me feels like doing so would be terribly cliché. Oh well. Here goes nothing: I’ve given this at least a little thought, though I haven’t prioritized my list: I’m thankful for
