It was less than a week ago when I posted about my first interaction with Klout and the low score I had. Since then I’ve done just a few simple things and my Klout score has jumped more than 30 points. The first thing I did was make sure that all of the accounts that Klout supports were added to my Klout account. Each time I was finished with adding a social media, I was returned to my account screen on Klout and was greeted with a pop up window inviting me to share my new account joining. I made sure to either tweet or Facebook (or sometimes both) each of those events. Pretty simple right? After that I started blogging again about what had been going on recently in my life. I hadn’t blogged much, if at all, in the last 8 or 9 months. You can read my

I finished my second week of working with Art at ReachLocal a couple of days ago and I’m off to do a week of corporate training in Dallas tomorrow. Should be a good time and an opportunity to do some networking. Last Friday, the 4th, I traded in my 2002 Ford Focus for a 2012 Kia Forte. It’s a great car and a lot of fun to drive. It’s got all the bells and whistles that I wanted in a car and I just got the windows tinted today.

It’s been a long time since I’ve written anything on here. I keep meaning to, but always find an excuse. My day usually consists of going to the office and spending 7-10 hours a day building websites for Q2. Once I’m done there I come home and sit at the make-shift office I have setup in my kitchen and I spend another 4-7 hours a night building websites for my clients. Then it’s off to bed for a few hours of sleep and then I’m off again to start the day over again. Don’t get me wrong, I love building websites and I go out at least a couple nights a week (if nothing else but to make sure I don’t end up being a complete hermit) and I have a pretty decent social life. Honestly, I feel pretty fortunate that I’m able to do the stuff I do. But

The first issue was one that made me feel as though I had been a bit misled. They told me that they had a fully automated billing system that came as an included feature with the reseller service. Though this was true, they didn’t tell me that in order to use it I would have to buy an SSL to get all of the functionality out of it. Also, when I had questions about integrating it into their reseller service, they told me that because it was a third-party application that they didn’t support it. The other issue is that they run on a Plesk server setup.

I’ve been busy with work at the office as well as my own clients and side projects. Sometimes the last thing I want to do is spend more time at a computer. I won’t say a lot has happened since my last blog post, but the little that has happened has been exciting. I finally booked my flight to Scotland! I’m leaving July 31st and I’ll be returning on the 14th. We’ve got all kinds of stuff planned and I can’t wait to get over there and start the adventure! I keep thinking I’m going to add more to this but it’s been sitting with the above content for a solid day. Ready, set, GO!
